When we tried explain to both the front desk staff and the assistant night manager that we tried paying the $90 at the front desk when we first checked in and was told not to pay since it was complimentary, they both replied with deaf ears and basically insisted that we pay for the charge even if it is their employee. Spoke to the front desk, and was just told that we were aware that there was a $90 charge for being upgraded to a suite. Went to check out and found a $90 charge on the room. They only wanted my credit card for 'security deposit' and was told it won't be charged unless we use something in the room. No word from them all night regarding the room fee. So we thought, okay maybe they wanted to give us the room for free anyways. We got to the hotel and during check in, we handed the money to pay for the room and was told 'no you don't need to pay, it is complimentary'. So we reserved the room for their asking price. We made a reservation over the phone and was told that they no longer have the deluxe room that was complimentary but they would upgrade us to a suite for $90. We booked with this hotel using their 'complimentary hotel stay' coupon.

If you want descent customer service, then do not stay in this hotel.
